Vision For Bodhicitta – Centre For Mindful Awareness
A space for stillness, self-discovery, insight meditation, and support for your inner journey
Located in #1153 Sector 36 C , Chandigarh India, Bodhicitta Centre For Mindful Awareness, is a secular meditation space for the development of compassion and wisdom. Bodhicitta refers to the ‘awakening mind’ or the ‘mind of enlightenment’. At Bodhicitta Centre For Awareness we strive to include activities through which we see the world as it is, and not only how we wish it to be. It is open to families and people from all walks of life that are seekers and practitioners of spiritual values.
Like a living version of a ‘mandala’ or ‘yantra’, that is a sacred visual representation of the teachings of the divine powers at work in the universe, Bodhicitta Centre For Awareness is a place for understanding and ‘sadhana’. It is dedicated to everyday awareness and finding simple practices for our spiritual growth.
We conduct seminars, workshops, courses and meditation meetings around the gateways of mindful awareness, compassion, spiritual celebration, and meditative practices. Other supportive practices offered are mindfulness of breathing, insight meditation, and loving-kindness taught with an aim to realize who we truly are, and how we can change our lives for the better.
Special workshops or courses may also be developed and offered including individual guidance, family programs, workshops for pregnant women, students and educational institutions, mindfulness-based courses for stress reduction, deaddiction, retreats for caregivers, social activists, and silent retreats. Bodhichitta Centre For awareness is established with its roots in the variety of mindfulness and vipassana practices expressed
