This is achieved by paying attention to whatever is occurring in the present moment in a non-judgemental and compassionate way. Not trying to add or take anything away, just experiencing whatever is happening, be it good or not so good. It is impossible to remain mindful 24\/7, so we need to learn skills that allow us to keep returning to the here and now. This course will give you those skills. Each week you will learn new mindful skills to add to your mindful awareness toolboxes, such as helping you deal with strong emotions, pain, forgiveness, thoughts, and much more. In this session, you will learn how to cope with them by doing various Mindful awareness practices. You will be trained in how to acknowledge that you have this moment of anxiety, how to accept, and then investigate the cause so you can find a way to help yourself through it. You will learn that forgiveness is for you and not for the person who wronged you. You will be taught a mindful awareness practice to help forgive yourself and others.
